Strategic Aims of the Association of National Teaching Fellows

The vision and mission of the ANTF lead to our core strategic aims which are articulated in relation to our collective expertise.

1. To enhance the student learning experience.
2. To lead by example and enhance the professional standards of colleagues locally, nationally and internationally
3. To contribute to the broader HE community through pedagogic research, advocacy of a teaching and learning perspective in HE, representation on relevant boards and committees and commenting on national and international initiatives relevant to HE.

Whilst we recognise that these aims may be met by individual NTFs locally, the Association provides support when necessary. In addition, the Association aims to provide a coherence to these activities and to demonstrate the impact of NTFs on a national scale.
